An open door for Mutalip

The name of the city where Mutalip was born remained the same for thousands of years. When Mutalip’s grandfather was a boy, he was one of about a million Uighur (WEE-gur) people living in this desert oasis. At that time the region had a very clear Uighur majority, and the official language was Uighur. Now the city has a new name.

Zardari to visit China during joint military excercise; nuke deal likely

Shaoguan, One Year On
